Spring Laburnums on the Preseli Hills

This is a painting of a photo that I took while driving across the mountain last spring.The laburnums are very prolific here and the contrast with the green landscape of fields and moore and the windswept clouds was gorgeous. This is a painting of the coast of Wales at sunset. The colours were spectacular. I took the photo while we were visiting north Wales and I loved the colours. The painting is fairly textured in an attempt to portray the rugged coast if North Wales.
