Spring Garden
Description:
Modern contemporary painting inspired by English spring gardens. The flowers are raised from the fresh yellow background using textured layers which lets the light catch them, creating a new aspect each time you look at the painting. The fresh colours will complement most colour schemes and the painting continues round the edges of this standard edge canvas so it is ready to hang with no need for framing. Flames Of Passion

Created on 3 canvas each measuring 16 in x 20 in, the flames of passion are created in a textured medium and stands out from the canvas.
They are then painted over in acrylic paint in yellows, oranges and reds.
It is varnished to protect it.
The background is black although on the uploaded picture it looks a little bit blue.
It is a stunning centre piece for any room, but looks great hung over a bed or sofa!

The Malt Shovel on a cold morning in winter 2012
Description:
I have painted my series of the Malt Shovel Hotel in Burley in Wharfedale in two sizes. One in this size of 30x24 inches and one sized 30x36 inches. I painted about thirty paintings in this size and six in the 30x36 inch format. Both are painted on standard stretched canvas. Most of the paintings in this size have sold, but there are still about ten left.
