The Factory Outing
Description:
This is No.20 of my `Northern Art` collection. They are all the same size,just 14" x 10" x half inch thick. I paint the edges as well so no framing is required. They all depict a bygone time, with vintage vehicles, and life generally in mainly northern sooty smokey mill towns.
In this one the factory has treated all the workers to a day out, and it looks like they are headed across the moors, hopefully to somewhere exciting. I would say they are glad to be away from the great smoking chimneys...which can been seen in the distant valley.
These are all painted on my own HANDMADE canvas boards...which are about half inch thick, with a high quality close weave canvas.

Green Mix recycled paint Brooch

I have recycled some of my paint that dripped off some paintings as I paint them..
I encased it behind a glass dome in a antique style metal base.
Each piece is completely unique and nobody else will have one like it!
It comes complete with a black presentation box.
I have found it very difficult to photograph my jewellery because of the reflections on the glass and can only say that the colours are much more vibrant in real life with lots going on in them.
As with all costume jewellery please keep perfumes and hairsprays etc away from them.
