Clifftop at sunset
Description:
This painting was inspired by a photo that I took when were on holiday last year. The as sunset and sea colours were beautiful and such a contrast to the dark rocks and crags of the cliffs. This oil painting is unframed but does not have to be as the painting is continued on the canvas sides.

Three Roses
Description:
Beautiful vibrant picture of three full blown English roses. I love flowers and this is painted using a variety of photos of roses blooming in my garden. It's nice to see some summer flowers on the wall when the days get darker. This is a square format, oil on canvas. The picture is not framed but continues onto the canvas sides so can be hung without in the modern style.

Flowers are one of my favourites subjects for their colours and delicacy together with their transient nature. This is based on the Peonies growing in my garden. The painting is of dreamy pink flowers surrounded by white daisies on a mauve/blue background. The painting is not framed but can be hung without as the painting is continued on the canvas sides. Privy Garden
Description:
This acrylic painting was composed and painted in 4 hours as a wild card artist entry which was featured in Sky Landscape Artist of the Year Heat 1, Episode 1, Series 10 aired on 22nd January 2025. It was painted in the Privy Garden in Hampton Court Palace on a scorching hot day in late June 2024 when the heat was filmed. The view of the entire palace and privy gardens would have been too much to paint in 4 hours so I chose to paint an abstract view with certain features of the palace and gardens including a prominent statue which is the focus of the painting.
