Silver Birches lll
Description:
Part of my very popular Birches series of paintings.
I have used a subtle metallic silver paint for the birches in this picture.
It catches the light beautifully.
The painting continues around all of the sides of the painting and it does not need framing.
I have used a high quality chunky canvas that measures 80cm x 30cm and it has been strung ready to hang and varnished to protect it.

Olly The Octopus

I have used melted wax to create this little picture...
Olly The Octopus is a little different to my usual paintings.it could not be repeated no matter how many times you tried..

It comes in a black mount ready to frame for your room.. and measures 20cm x 15cm mounted.
Encaustic wax is a unique way of creating completely different paintings-- it is not 100% controllable -which makes it very interesting to work with..
I use an electric iron to melt the wax and 'paint' the picture using the iron. and love the unpredictable nature of it.
