Description:
I painted this with the sea-bed in mind, using cotton threads mixed with acrylic paint to create a feeling of weed moving in the current, and beads are the pearls within the weed. This painting can be hung in anyway to your personal preference or space, and I have signed the reverse.

Description:
This painting was produced in my tiny ground floor flat, I made up every excuse possible not to paint here,
Too small not enough room, not enough light, ran out of paints, the list goes on! I had my close friends that gave me the encouragement and determination to paint against the odds, and have fun on the way.
This was a joy to do, love the detail, the slyness and shyness of this clever cunning fox.
Painted with oils on boxed canvas, no need to frame.

Cherry Blossom

The Jewel of the River
Description:
The Jewel of the River is a 40x40x1.5 inches oil painting of a kingfisher by a river surrounded by fields and wildflower meadows. The edges of the painting are blurred so that you are transported into it across the white lacy cow parsley flowers in the foreground. You then see trees and fields leading off into the distance and there is a hint of a river glittering between the stalks of the flowers. The painting has transparent veils of colours moving across it that that help to give it a shimmering magical feel. To the right sitting on one of the flowers is a tiny female kingfisher. She is the jewel of the river. The painting is semi abstract contemporary art nouveau in style and was inspired by an area of the river Medway near Tunbridge Wells where I saw my first kingfisher. I love to walk and I love to spot wildlife and I find birds completely captivating. Especially highly colourful ones. This landscape encapsulates for me a perfect memory of walking along a riverbank in Springtime. A Fish In A Mystical Place
Description:
I love the vibrant colours that leap out of the canvas at you!
Turquoise ,cerise pink, along with a dash of yellow in each canvas mingle and merge with each other-creating a slighly different affect on each canvas.
Swimming along the top of the top canvas is a sweet little goldfish--I have no idea how he got there! But he lives in a very beautiful, mystical place !
The artwork is made up of 3 chunky canvas-each measuring 8in x 8in and are attached to each other with adjustable thick cords. You can make the gap between each smaller or larger quite easily.I have it adjusted to 24in long.
All edges of the canvas's are painted black and the art work has been varnished to protect it.

This large 36in x 36in deep edge canvas will brighten any room it hangs in.
A New Summers Day is my signature painting ,but has only been painted in this size once before.
Created using high quality oil paints, it has been a long time in the making due to my ill health..and could be the only one I paint for a long time.
Lots of lovely textures abound in the painting.
I have used a knife to create the waves--this gives a lovely textured finish, and the thick paint used to do the poppies adds more detail that stands out from the canvas.. There is a very subtle twinkle on the sea as the light catches it..
The painting continues around all of the sides and it does not require a frame..

Sardine and Lemon
Description:
This is an original acrylic on canvas of an abstract sardine and half a lemon ready to be cooked.
