Great Horned Owl
A great horned owl peers from amongst the white oak foliage - perhaps getting ready to settle down to rest after a night's hunting. My thanks to Jennie Norris for the reference photograph of the owl. Widely distributed in the Americas, the Great Horned Owl (Bubo virginianus) is also known as the tiger owl or hoot owl. It is the second heaviest owl in North America, after the snowy owl, and its well-camouflaged plumage varies considerably across its range. The large, powerful talons are capable of exerting 300 pounds of pressure per square inch. Those tufts of feathers that give rise to the species' name are thought to be used to give visual cues when interacting with other owls. This original pencil drawing by Elaine Jones was made with Faber Castell Polychromos, Caran d'Ache Pablo and Luminance pencils on Clairefontaine Pastelmat paper. Image measures approximately 37cm x 29cm, unframed.
Modern contemporary painting of a field of fresh summer flowers depicted in warm metallic tones. Set against light green background this painting has a modern feel and will complement most colour schemes. The light shines off the flowers accentuating the texture and bringing the painting to life from all angles. This painting has been finished with a protective satin varnish and with the colour continuing round the edges of the canvas it is ready for immediate hanging.
SUNFLOWERS IN BLUE VASE
This is a very detailed and realistic painting of sunflowers - a taste of the warmth of the south of France in the home. Meticulously painted to make the viewer feel almost able to reach out and touch the petals and leaves. It is set in a light coloured contemporary tray frame measuring 68cm x 68cm x 35mm overall.
Spectrum of Colours
This vibrant picture, the third in the Mystery of Colours series, is a fusion of different colours and shows their magnificent and powerful combination of shades of the rainbow. Its painted on canvas using Brusho and acrylic. The picture measures: 23x30cm/aprox 9x12. Framing not necessary and is ready to hang as landscape or portrait.

Green Recycled paint Necklace
I have recycled some of my paint that dripped off some paintings as I paint them.. I encased it behind a glass dome in a silver metal base and strung it onto a 20in black silk lace. Each piece is completely unique and nobody else will have one like it! It comes complete with a black presentation box. I have found it very difficult to photograph my jewellery because of the reflections on the glass and can only say that the colours are much more vibrant in real life with lots going on in them. As with all costume jewellery please keep perfumes and hairsprays etc away from them. Free postage. I also make cuff links, brooches, earrings and other shaped pendants
