Hedgehog - pencil drawing
Hedgehog drawing. An original pencil drawing of a pygmy hedgehog, drawn with soft graphite pencils on cream paper and mounted, ready to frame. I love attending Wildlife Drawing sessions, and a couple of years ago got the opportunity to sketch (and hold!) some gorgeous pygmy hedgehogs. This particular hedgehog has such a lovely friendly face, that I'm sure this piece of art will make you smile every time you see it! The drawing itself measures about 6" x 8", and has been sealed inside an 8" x 10" ivory coloured mount. I've included an example of how it could look framed, but please note the frame is not included, only the mount.

Coming to clarity
On a trip to Florence, my wife and I sought out gardens that were open to the public. We found one that was connected to the local university. There were numerous plants of Hydrangea in flowers, so perfect for us. At home this particular image suited itself to a black and white conversion. I think this works best either on Ilford Baryta paper, framed under put under glass, or, as in theis case, directly printed on aluminium. The metal print does add something extra. This is part of a limited run of 20, and if it is printed in any other way, then that is part of the run of 20. I can have this printed in different sizes and media, but I do have a maximum size. Please contact me about this.

All Seeing Eyes
This woodcut print was created to celebrate the Gothic cleverness and beauty of the raven-some are even able to speak! Very Edgar Alan Poe! This design has been handcarved on to Japanese professional grade Shino Ply, which has a beautiful distinctive grain, which means every print is completely unique. Each raven image is printed using Cranfield UK made water based ink onto thick 250gsm 100% recycled white card. The image is printed into the middle of an A4 sheet, leaving a crisp thick white border, so there is no need for a mount. This is a limited edition of 150.Each print will be signed and dated.
