A loosely handled colourist impression of Fife architecture: outside steps up to the upper floor (where people lived, while the livestock was kept downstairs... their heat rising handily in the winter!); this one found in St Andrews. Fife people seem to have a special love of flowers - you see many pots displayed on steps like these. Acrylic on board with integral frame and finished with a neat pine edging.
