Description: 'Breakfast In America' is a large original pastel painting, framed and ready to hang. Making the most of a dramatic tumbling sky I've placed my main subject, the osprey, above eye level to give the composition even more impact. The highly detailed bird perched on a dead wood tree and feeding on a large barbel fish has been created using a limited palette which helps accentuate the light and shadows which really bring the scene to life. The rich splash of colour in the lower sky as the sun rises also adds extra drama to the painting. Measuring approximately 14 inches x 22 inches, this piece is presented in a white mount with a complimentary richly coloured yew frame with a gold sight edge to a total size of about 22.5 x 30.5 inches.
