I love hiking, and when I go home I often recreate the scenes from my memory. On a spring hike I saw this hidden bridge over a gorge in the forest. I stopped and stayed rooted till I took a quick likeness in watercolour, preparatory for this painting. And yes, the trees were truly this orange.
