Dragonflies and Foxgloves
Description:
This fantasy painting has been created using acrylic , oils and encaustic wax.Its mainly monochrome but I have added some colour in the form of foxgloves and dragonflies using melted wax.
The water and light coming through the trees are created using oil paint--it works well and gives a lovely translucent effect.
The sides are all painted and its been varnished to protect it.
It comes strung ready to hang in the room of your choice!

Midnight Moon
Description:
My series of silhouette paintings including the "Yesterday" ones have proved to be very popular-so here is the latest one!
The sky is painted beautiful rich shades of purples that are lit up with a large moon-I have used a subtle gold glitter paint on the moon which catches the light.
A little rabbit looks out from under the tree at the wonderous sight.
It measures 12in x 24in on a chunky canvas-all sides are painted.
This painting is ready to hang and has been protected with 4 coats of artist varnish so it will be safe to hang in any room.

Enchanted Evening

This painting has been painted onto a staple free cicular canvas measuring 40cm in diameter.
The sides are all painted.
The painting is based on the Welsh coast where we have spent many happy days and evenings.
I have used shades of purple, mauve, pinks and creams with the rocks and grass in black-silhouetted against the sky and water.
The water has been created using a special metallic paint that shimmers and catches the light.
