Red Riding Hood in Mosaic
Description:
This is an extremely unusual representation of a nude female figure in a red cloak apparently formed as a mosaic of coloured tiles but is in fact painted on a stretched canvas, ready to hang and set in a contemporary dark mahogany effect tray frame. It is meticulously painted with great attention paid to each individual âtileâ. This would be an eye catching talking point in any display. The frame measures 68cm x 48 cm overall x 35 mm deep.

Reeds In The Breeze

A summers day in a painting! Beautiful blue sky, turquoise sea, gentle waves lapping on the beach and poppies waving their pretty heads in the gentle sea breeze.
I have used lots of texture in the waves which are created with a palette knife, and thick paint for the poppies.
The edges have been left white but I can paint them to match the painting if you wish at no extra cost--it will add a week to 10 days to postage time though.

Dream On
Description:
I love working with melted wax...and this painting was a joy to create!
I have used a special iron and tools to manipulate the coloured high quality bees wax on the perspex..
Look closely and you will see all manner of things in the painting--faces and little creatures --
I can see a rams head on the left hand side of the painting!
The other 2 pics are close ups..
The wax side of the perspex has been reversed into the frame to protect it.
The frame is a plain black one that suits the painting beautifully.
If you would like more photos of the picture please contact me..
Encaustic art paintings are always very unique because of the very nature of melted wax, so you will never see another one the same!
