Sid The Squid
Description:
I have used melted wax to create this little picture...
Sid The Squid is a little different to my usual paintings.it could not be repeated no matter how many times you tried..
There is another painting in the series called Olly the Octopus which is also available here on ABA ..if you would like to purchase both paintings I will sell the two together for £55
It comes in a black mount ready to frame for your room.. and measures 20cm x 15cm mounted.
Encaustic wax is a unique way of creating completely different paintings-- it is not 100% controllable -which makes it very interesting to work with..
I use an electric iron to melt the wax and 'paint' the picture using the iron. and love the unpredictable nature of it.
