The Malt Shovel on a cold morning in winter 2012
I have painted my series of the Malt Shovel Hotel in Burley in Wharfedale in two sizes. One this size (30x24 inches) and one sized 30x36 inches. I painted about thirty paintings in this size and six in the 30x36 inch format. Both are painted on standard stretched canvas. Most of the paintings in this size have sold, but there are still about ten left.

Otley Chevin viewed from Burley Woodhead 2012
This painting is one of several paintings I have painted of Otley Chevin. known locally as the Chevin it is a small mountain/hill on the eastern side of Otley (an old market town in West Yorkshire) providing shelter for the small town. Near the top of the Chevin is a popular point affording splendid views of the surrounding countryside and is called (not surprisingly) "surprise view".
