Windmills of my mind
Description:
This is a panoramic (length 26.5 x width 9 inches) original impressionist watercolour painting of 5 windmills silhouetted against the sky adjacent to a dutch dyke (a great deal of Holland is below sea level). The scene is painted from a photograph taken at dawn as the sky lights up above the mist rising over the still water in the dyke.
