About The Artist

Artist Biography:
I have been painting for over 25 years and have an eclectic range of styles and subjects that reflects the passage of my life. I was born in Wiltshire and spent my childhood years travelling between York and various far-flung locations, including Oman and Indonesia. In more recent years I have spent time in India and Nepal.
These days I paint from my studio at home in mid-Wales, surrounded by my perfect inspirations of sea and mountains. I mainly paint in oils, but for my illustrations and drawings I use acrylics, watercolours, charcoal and pen and ink.
My main love in painting is without doubt the sea, irresistible with all its strength and beauty. Since moving to Wales I have spent a lot of time walking in the local mountains and painting them is a real pleasure as I get to know the landscape personally.
I have exhibited in Bath, Wiltshire and York and my paintings have travelled the world.
