Artist Biography:
The layers of landscape texture and the colour contrasts of the seasons are the raw materials for my work. I am a Fifer living in Edinburgh enjoying heavy body acrylics.
Water becomes a theme for much of my work, water as a part of the landscape and as a reflection of it.
I was first inspired by the character depicted in the geranium clad windows and doors of Northern France.
I enjoy the texture of pastel, watercolour and most recently acrylic paint.
