Description:
Maple lodge is on the outskirts of Burley in Wharfedale in West Yorkshire. Maple Bank is a Victorian home at the end of a tree lined avenue with a field next to it used for grazing sheep and growing hay. The blue mound in the background of the painting is not the back of a Sperm Whale, but the top of Otley Chevin! (Acrylic on canvas).
