Artist Biography:
Once called the Monet Of Wharfedale though I prefer to be known as a twenty first century Impressionist, an Ocularist.
Even though I am now a professional artist and getting paid for painting it is something that I really enjoy doing so I would paint anyway! My life revolves around my love of painting and all things art related.
My paintings are impressionistic in style and are usually of local scenes in lower Wharfedale. I also paint scenes from other areas of Yorkshire and also scenes from Brittany. I paint in acrylics, but enjoy using other mediums such as pastel,both soft and oil.
Painting for me is not just a profession,it is a way of life and my motto is I don\'t paint photographs, I don\'t paint pictures, I paint paintings. |
Artist News/Exhibitions:
I regularly hold one man exhibitions in Burley in Wharfedale. My next exhibition is on Sunday 14th April 2013 at St Mary's Parish Centre, Station Road, Burley in Wharfedale. I paint on standard canvases unless otherwise stated. |
