Artist Biography:
Hello,just a little bit about myself and my artwork. I attended art college as a much younger person, but did not wish to pursue a career in art at that time. It is only since taking early retirement that I have rediscovered and also had the time to pursue my interest and love of art. In fact it is the one regret that I did not paint earlier as I believe you improve and develop your style as time goes on. I suppose I am basically self taught, I do not stick to one particular theme but enjoy attempting all types of art. I do however like humorous artwork as I feel we all need something to make us smile these days. I have been fortunate enough to sell my artwork at home and abroad to Spain,Portugal,USA and Australia over the past 2 years. I have recently sold numerous prints to be used as furnishings in some Holiday Cottages.

A Big thank you to all the people who purchased my artwork in 2009.
My range of gifts (new for 2009) ie Melamine Trays/Chopping Boards and coasters were well received.
Unfortunately I have to have cataracts removed some time soon, this came as a shock to me when I visited the optician 24th July. I knew my vision had been getting worse but I never thought it would be cataracts. Luckily the procedure is very common and hopefully I should be back to full health soon. |
