Artist Biography:
I hope you enjoy looking at my work and will find something that really appeals to you.
Most important to me is the freedom to portray colour and form as I want to, in creating works that hold the essence of our land and sea, whether defined or semi-abstract, using whatever materials come to hand. It is gratifying to know that my paintings and drawings are appreciated enough to adorn the walls in anyone's home and if you like any piece of work please get in touch. I need to keep creating.
I love oil paint and I love painting with my bare hands and fingers. I explore colour, form and texture for the sheer love of it, resulting in unexpected abstracts.
Most precious to me are my life drawings, the artist's staple: a regular discipline which affords me the liberation to experiment as every great artist like Matisse and Picasso... see more on my website (above).
Careful packaging and special delivery is included in the price. Most canvases are painted on all edges, requiring no frame, but can just as easily be framed to match an existing display on your walls. Giclee prints available from some works - please ask.
