Artist Biography:
I have always enjoyed art, in between other pastimes, and have encouraged my children to do the same, in fact its not uncommon to see the 4 of us sitting out in some distant location busily painting away while tucking into our sandwiches and tea! I spend alot of my free time admiring other artists work and trying to understand how they achieve certain effects. The work by other artists on this website is fantastic and I envy them all their talent.
I grew up in Portsmouth and Hayling Island where I developed a love for the sea and sun and I consider myself so lucky to have been able to leave my house and within 5 minutes be either in the countryside or on the beach. I seemed to have grown up with either a brush or pencil permanently in my hand and have captured many scenes on paper. I moved to London in my thirties before finally settling in Dorset.
I usually work with acrylics but have recently started working with oil pastels. All my work comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and a glossy 1 sheet bio of myself. I hope you enjoy my pictures.
