An Acrylic on canvas 23x27ins. a May 2010 commission and luckily for me I had a brilliant photo' to work from. The client had a professional picture, and the original picture included a very cute pup, the background is white with just a little shading, the clients request, and I think it works very well. I am now commissioned to paint the puppy and he is photographing two more of his Rottweilers, so I will be known as the Rotty Lady ha ha! His comments have been wonderful and are on my web site. |

Artist Biography:
Hello,just a little bit about myself and my artwork. I attended art college as a much younger person, but did not wish to pursue a career in art at that time. It is only since taking early retirement that I have rediscovered and also had the time to pursue my interest and love of art. In fact it is the one regret that I did not paint earlier as I believe you improve and develop your style as time goes on. I suppose I am basically self taught, I do not stick to one particular theme but enjoy attempting all types of art. I do however like humorous artwork as I feel we all need something to make us smile these days. I have been fortunate enough to sell my artwork at home and abroad to Spain,Portugal,USA and Australia over the past 3 years. I have sold numerous prints to be used as furnishings in some Holiday Cottages.
