This is a commission wanted as a surprise Christmas present (so I can safely show it now) I was asked to show the dog and to include the farmhouse as it had been in the family for many generations. I had the picture mounted and framed for the client,to her specifications. They were thrilled I'm glad to say. |

Artist Biography:
Hello,just a little bit about myself and my artwork. I attended art college as a much younger person, but did not wish to pursue a career in art at that time. It is only since taking early retirement that I have rediscovered and also had the time to pursue my interest and love of art. In fact it is the one regret that I did not paint earlier as I believe you improve and develop your style as time goes on. I suppose I am basically self taught, I do not stick to one particular theme but enjoy attempting all types of art. I do however like humorous artwork as I feel we all need something to make us smile these days. I have been fortunate enough to sell my artwork at home and abroad to Spain,Portugal,USA and Australia over the past 3 years. I have sold numerous prints to be used as furnishings in some Holiday Cottages.
