| Description |
An abstract acrylic painting on box canvas using a close-up study of a melon, taking a cross-section view, hence the "slice" in the title. The juicy melon flesh has been created using layers of thin acrylic washes in yellows and green, with orange accents. The sides of the canvas have also been painted, with a textured emerald green. A variation on a still-life painting.
