Description: 'Bird In Hand' is an unusual and interesting composition depicting a small parrot laying on it's back within the palm of a human hand. Created with graphite pencils on Arches Cold Pressed watercolour paper it is based on a reference photograph taken by Amelia from the Paint my Photo website although I've used my own hand to enable a greater range of texures in my drawing. Measuring approximately 18 x 8 inches, the size and shape of this artwork is ideal for hanging in an awkward space perhaps above a piece of furniture or under a low ceiling. It is presented in an off white mount within a distressed silver gilt frame to a total size of approximately 25 x 15 inches, ready to hang.
