Artist Biography:
After completing art school many moons ago I left my creative pursuits behind (reluctantly) to get a proper job. Being thoroughly miserable and cranky in the world of work, I began to channel this frustration into painting, and started creating imagined, cubist style townscapes, based on my origins in a impoverished northern milltown. These proved really popular (all of the original series now in private collections).
My work has since developed into expressionistic and surreal landscapes paintings. I have also recently started a new series of contemporary figurative paintings of humorous domestic scenes in a quirky illustrative style, which will be available as prints and greeting cards.
