Franceso Hayez Bust
Original charcoal and chalk sketch of Francesco Hayez (10 February 1791 â 21 December 1882) was an Italian painter, the leading artist of Romanticism in mid-19th-century Milan, renowned for his grand historical paintings, political allegories, and exceptionally fine portraits. Part of my tribute to artists collection. Picture is 18 x 13cm within a mounted frame.
Modern, contemporary painting of 4 cats in silhouette. Cats have played an important part of my life and I have always admired and been fascinated with the different poses they can get themselves into! These paintings are on four standard edge canvases and can be arranged in any order either in a line, a square or whatever design you fancy! The painting continues round the edge of the canvas so they are ready for immediate hanging with no need for framing. They have been finished with a protective satin varnish.

Escape to the Big Blue Sea
Escape to the Big Blue Sea is a large blue under the sea oil painting with three fish swimming in formation. The fish are angel fish and they travel across a wide blue expanse of ocean beneath the turquoise rippling surface of the water which catches the light in small white sparkles. Below them you can see the light patterns on the rainbow coloured sand and in the distance a hint of coral reef. The idea behind this particular painting was prompted by the Corona virus lockdown which has left most of the world feeling a bit trapped. The three fish are freshwater fish and so have no business being in an ocean. However, one of the things I most like about painting is that you can alter reality as much as you want to. I have set them free as I hope we will be soon. Dedicated to everyone. It is 40x40x1.5 inches, white edges, deep edge canvas, ready to hang, no frame needed.
