I LOVE this painting! The photos really don't do it justice..there are so many colours going on in it..it really is one of my favourite ones ever! The method I have used means that the acrylic paint becomes very unpredictable and there is no knowing how it will end up... I used pure silicon, pure alcohol and a blow torch to create it!! Every time you look at it you will see something new..so many 'cells' containing colours--the metallic ones catch the light beautifully. At the moment it is hanging in a nearby exhibition, but I can take it out if it sells from here.. I have chosen to hang it the way up you see it but you may decide to hang it another way..it is entirely up to you.. It measures 24in x 24in and comes ready to hang in your home or office, It is much more vibrant than it appears on here..the colours really pop out from the canvas,,

MIND OVER MATTER (18 x 24 Inch Canvas)
This original Painting is on a Frisk Watercolour canvas, standard width, the painting continues round all the edges. it is 100% cotton, 250g per squared metre, acid free, with pine stretched bars and is back stapled. These canvases are specifically formulated for watercolour, they are ideal for my style of painting as my artwork doesn't look like the traditional watercolour artists. The painting comes with the poem printed on coloured card and a certificate of authenticity. MIND OVER MATTER. If you donât mind it doesnât matter; stop the chatter, youâre mad as a hatter! Find the space between each thought, serenity, you will have brought; that will make the chatter halt. Iâm the voice of your inner being, I send you messages in how youâre feeling, if you donât feel great youâre not aligned, get on the case â youâve been assigned! Do something now to make you feel good, nothingâs more important â is that understood? Follow my guidance, act on each feeling; youâll find your creations are all very pleasing!
Realm of the Ravens
Realm of the Ravens is a 40x40x1.5 inches large oil painting of a flock of ravens in flight against a golden sunset behind winter trees. The background is blurred, semi abstract and slightly magical, whilst the ravens are carefully painted in the foreground to give a feeling of depth. The ravens flap and caw as ravens do and although they have a woodland behind them, they are also moving into another realm through the hint of veils which they pass through. One of the ravens is white and the rest reflect the colours that you can see in black ravens of blues, greens and deep violets. Ravens fascinate me as they follow you and report to each other when you are in their territory. A collection of ravens is apparently called a âconspiracyâ which seems apt sometimes especially as they seem to laugh at the antics of mammals and humans. The inspiration for this painting is the winter woodland I see around Sussex and the ravens themselves who definitely know something I donât about the landscapes I walk in. The painting has white edges, is ready to hang, no frame needed
This is an oil painting on canvas of a still life of some beautiful daffodils and tulips in a vase in front of my window. The price is for it framed in a brown wooden frame with an inner gold line as in the photo. It is also available unframed for £155. Please contact me if you would like it unframed as I will have to alter the price.
White Winter Monarchs
White Winter Monarchs is a 40x40x1.5 inches large white original oil painting with deer and an owl in a snow covered winter forest. A big red deer stag stands to the left next to a pine tree and behind him is a doe. Over to the right flying between the trees is a white barn owl. The scene is set in a woodland clearing where thick snow lies on the ground leading though a patch of tall thin pine and birch trees. There is an exit in the middle of the painting that the creatures can lead you to or turn you away from. Both deer and owls are often found in folklore and are often credited with being spiritual guides or purveyors of wisdom. I am not sure of the truth of this but they are nevertheless beautiful creatures and do add something spiritual to landscapes. This painting is semi abstract and contemporary in style and began its life as an autumn landscape with deer. Now, however, it is a winter one as I wanted to mute down the oranges of autumn to make a white painting. Painted on wide edge canvas, white edges, no frame needed, ready to hang.
Lakeland Sunset Calm
A calming lakeland scene inspired by visits to Canada, Scotland and The Lakes. The painting continues round the edges of the frame so it is ready to hang with no need for framing. This creates a very simple but effective style. This painting has been finished with a protective satin varnish. This painting is on a standard edge canvas.
I love abstract art,I love the fact that you can see something different every time you look at it, and the fact you can hang it 4 different ways if you wish to do so.. This painting has been created using high quality acrylic paints on a 30cm x 40cm canvas.. I have used some different techniques in this painting using some chemical reaction that have created some interesting results. The photos really do not do this painting justice. The purple paint is metallic and it really jumps out of the canvas,it has moved all around the canvas and appears in the bubble effect too..other colours include a vibrant fuchsia pink and hot orange,
